  • Class 4

    Welcome to Class 4.

This Year 5 and 6 mixed-age class is taught by Miss Wright. Mrs Frith supports the children in their learning during the morning sessions on Monday-Thursday and Mrs Sheppard delivers computing and art on Wednesday afternoons. As the oldest children in school, here at St. Mary's, we aim to enable our pupils to flourish into resilient, enthusiastic and curious learners in preparation for the next step in their educational journeys.

    What we are learning:

Below you will find our current learning overview. We are currently working on Autumn 1 –2025. This half-term, the children are studying Crime and Punishment through Time in history and have already enjoyed making links to our topic through the classic poem, 'The Highwayman', by Alfred Noyes.

    Important news from Class 4:

It's a very exciting time of year as we embark on a new academic year. Children in Class 4 are enjoying the additional responsibilities that come with being the oldest children in school, and are proving to be excellent role models.
