St Mary's Church of England Primary School
Owl Class
Welcome to Owl Class.
This Year 5 and 6 mixed-age class is taught by Miss Wright. Mrs Frith supports the children in their learning during the morning sessions on Monday-Wednesday and also delivers French and art/DT on Monday afternoons. Miss Bainbridge supports in class on Thursday mornings. As the oldest children in school, here at St. Mary's, we aim to enable our pupils to flourish into resilient, enthusiastic and curious learners in preparation for the next step in their educational journeys.
What we are learning:
Below you will find our current learning overview (Autumn 1 Snapshot). This half-term, the children are learning about World War Two in history and the wider curriculum.
Important news from Owl Class:
The children have settled into their new roles and routines beautifully. Some of the children have even been selected for additional responsibilities around school, such as House Captains, Librarians and Worship Leaders!
In the coming weeks, we shall be attending church for our annual Harvest Festival.
Information regarding our Summer residential trip to York has already gone out to parents/carers via Class Dojo.
