Class 2
Welcome to Class 2. Our class is taught by Miss Selby and has both Year 1 and Year 2 children in it.
Our classroom environment is a lovely calming space with plenty of resources to help us learn.
What we are learning:
Our overarching theme this term is 'Africa' where we are learning about African animals and their habitats, the continent of Africa and Nelson Mandela as a significant person.
The children explore this theme through a range of continuous provision activities as well as focused activities.

Important news from Class 2:
It's a very exciting time of year right now with our children preparing for sports day. We have recently introduced our Moki bands where children's steps are counted to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Our PE days are Monday and Thursday.
We encourage children to read 3 times a week at home.
